Stampin’ Up Abigail Rose
Hello Everyone – a simple card with offset layers is the share today with the Stampin’ Up Abigail Rose card idea.
I wasn’t certain how I was going to use the ledger pattern paper in the Abigail Rose collection. I found a layout that would work and ran with it. The pattern paper adds enough interest to the background without taking over the design. Great way to use this paper don’t you think?
The Abigail Rose collection of pattern papers is made up of shades of pinks, browns, and grays. It has floral patterns as well as geometric patterns. Perfect to add to your collection. Click the image below and add it to your cart.
I used the blender pen to help spread the color on the leaves and flowers. I traced some of the lines and then smeared the ink with the blender pen. Love the texture it creates!
That single flower is perfect for decorating the inside of your card and envelope. Used the same coloring technique as the images on the card front.
I really like playing with this stamp from the stamp set. I have used it on this card for a monochromatic card. I also used the same coloring technique for the large rose in the stamp set for this idea.
Have you used this technique for coloring your images? Give it a try as it is fun and easy!
I hope my Stampin’ Up Abigail Rose card has inspired you with this fun coloring technique. Thanks for visiting me today and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
