Stampin’ Up Bee punch idea

Stampin’ Up Bee punch idea

Happy Friday Stampers – I played with a new punch and have a Stampin’ Up Bee punch idea for you today.

When I saw the new bee bundle I thought about the retired hexagon hive embossing folder that I still had. That made me think of using the new with the old.

My layout today was inspired by a card from Mumu’a Paperology. I used the the hexagon stamp to randomly stamp on the card stock. I then took the embossing folder and some black card stock and embossed it. Afterwards I swiped the raised portion of the card stock with gold ink. Since I had the bee and the honeycomb I knew bees are attracted to flowers so I went looking for some paper. The Inked Botanicals had a cute flower pattern that was perfect. Here is how all the pieces fit together.

If you have not seen the Bee My Valentine bundle check it out. That bee is adorable!

To show you how to put this card together, here is the video.

Since the bundle is new I thought I would share some ideas for the Hexagon Hive embossing folder. Look at this cute card with a bear. You can get a good idea of the embossing folder on this card.

Want to make your version of this card, here are the supplies you will need.
