Stampin’ Up Daffodil Afternoon and Pierced Blooms Dies
Hello Everyone – I am still playing with Sale-a-bration paper and created this Stampin’ Up Daffodil Afternoon and Pierced Blooms Dies idea.
If you take a good look at the Daffodil Afternoon pattern paper you can see some of our current product they used for inspiration on the paper. I really looked at one of the pieces and the flower in there reminded me of a die I had. The cute little Pale Papaya flowers reminded me of the Pierced Blooms dies so I pulled it out and was so excited when it matched.
I will be honest with you. When the In Blooms bundle came out I bought it just for the Pierced Blooms dies. I love those dies and when I can find a new product to use this them I am super excited.
The pattern paper has Pale Papaya 5 petal flowers that are so cute. I found that same basic shape in the dies and cut it out. There were also some leaves in the dies that I could use with the flowers. And not to be forgotten are the adorable little flowers in the paper that could be mimiced with the dies also. Isn’t it fabulous when you can use dies to create your card?
The Stitched So Sweetly dies made the perfect panel to add my flowers on. And to hide where the 2 paper join the Gold Fine Art ribbon came to the rescue. It is the perfect ribbon for this paper!
The In Bloom stamp set had a cluster of 3 little flowers that I used to decorate the inside of my card and my envelope.
Here are some other ideas using the Pierced Blooms dies and Daffodil Afternoon pattern paper. Look at the bright colors used on this beautiful card where the dies created the flowers. Look at how the pattern paper peeks out behind the fancy front to this card and it also inspired the daisy which was taken from the paper.
