Stampin’ Up Flowing Flowers in Smoky Slate
Hello Everyone – need an idea for a card for several occasions then check out the Stampin’ Up Flowing Flowers in Smoky Slate.
I originally wanted a simple card for all occasions but when I finished this one I realized you could easily use it for other occasions by just changing the sentiment.
This is such a serene looking card and so pretty. If you need a sympathy or thinking of you card change the sentiment and you have a beautiful card. Don’t you love an idea that can be used for several occasions? Look at how the White crinkled seam binding and the Classic Matte dots are perfect on this card.
I love the sentiments in this stamp set. One of my favorite sentiments on this card was used with the Pattern Party paper pack. Here is another idea with the same sentiment that uses the Flowering Fields pattern paper.
I was busy teaching classes and prepping to be gone for a week so I do not have a video for you.

Measurements for the Stampin’ Up Flowing Flowers in Smoky Slate
Card Base: White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Basic Gray: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Smoky Slate: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Let’s Make It!
- fold and burnish the card base
- stamp the flower image with the leaves on the left and bottom edge of the Smoky Slate panel using Smoky Slate
- mount the Smoky Slate panel onto the Basic Gray panel
- add the White crinkled seam binding to the top of the image panel
- attach the panel to the card base
- tie a bow using the ribbon and add it to the ribbon at the top of the panel using glue dots
- sprinkle on some White Classic Matte dots
