Stampin’ Up Sun Prints Christmas idea
Hello Everyone – I used a non-Christmas pattern paper for today’s Stampin’ Up Sun Prints Christmas idea card.
Continuing with the monthly focus of the Nature’s Prints bundle, I chose to use the Sun Prints pattern paper for today’s card. I know you may wonder how to create a Christmas card if you don’t have Christmas paper. Today’s card will show you how you can do this.
Have you seen the products in this suite? I love using them with other products not in the suite to show the versatility of these items.
The idea for this card came from the sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday blog. I loved the simple layout and knew I could use it for a fun card.
To give this paper some bling for a Christmas feel, I used a piece of the Gold metallic specialty paper and the Basic Border dies for the strip across the bottom of the layout. It makes the card more festive with the bit of bling.
Since there were no Christmas images or sentiments I used the Brightest Glow stamp set for the sentiment. I used the sprig image in the stamp set as it looked like it could be a Christmas sprig which was stamped in Night of Navy and Gray Granite. I used some Wink of Stella on it to give it some sparkle.
If you change the sentiment on this card you could easily make it a Christmas card also. This card uses the same image for a different card idea.
