Stampin’ Up Tabs for Everything You’re Adorable

Good Morning Everyone ~ need a baby card idea, check out my Stampin’ Up Tabs for Everything You’re Adorable creation!

Well I had my massage yesterday.  It was ok.  Not like my lady in Maryland used to do.  I made an appointment in 2 weeks with another lady to see if I like her style better.  I then came home and worked on some posts as I am headed out of town for a “play” weekend and need to have them ready to go.  I also scheduled my next 12 Weeks of Christmas newsletter so you can still sign up and receive them.  I hope you have liked the projects so far.  I also worked on a swap and the Christmas cards for my class I want to offer down here.  I have to get them made so I can meet with the developer to see if I can use the pavilion room.  I decided not to go to get my tags as my hair was a mess after the massage.  I will go today and get those.

The next stamp set on my Catalog Journey is the Tabs for Everything.  This is a planner set and I wanted to show how you can use these types of sets for cards.  I was drawn to the striped square and thought it would be a great background for one of the images.  I then saw the cute little elephant and knew exactly what I wanted to do.  I stamped the striped square using Powder Pink ink 3 times.  I then used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped the elephant outline in the center of the striped square.  I used Smoky Slate ink to stamp the inside of the elephant.  The square was cut out (if you have the retired 1 1/4″ square punch you can use that) and a 1 3/8″ square (again the retired 1 3/8″ square punch can be used) of Powder Pink was cut out to add as a layer.  The 3 squares were layered.  I used a Whisper White panel and mounted it to a Powder Pink layer.  Using my Powder Pink reinker, I dyed some of the 3/8″ Silver Metallic Edge ribbon for my card.  When it was dry I added it to the right hand side of the panels and then attached the panels to my Smoky Slate card base.  The layered squares were added down the left hand side of the card front using dimensionals.  To finish off my card I stamped the sentiment using the stamps from the set in Powder Pink.  The retired 7/8″ scallop circle punch was used to punch out the sentiment.  I layered the sentiment onto a Powder Pink and Smoky Slate scalloped circle punched using the 1 1/8″ and 1 3/8″ scallop circle punches.  Here is the completed Stampin’ Up Tabs For Everything You’re Adorable creation.
