Stampin’ Up Texture Chic Season of Life
Hello Everyone – I love using an idea to get several cards like today’s Stampin’ Up Texture Chic Season of Life creations.
Love playing with sketch challenges and today’s card uses the negative from the cut of one of the patterns to make a second card with the same layout. Today’s cards use Kendra’s Card Challenge #8 and sketches 9 and 10 to make negative images for the cards.
I love the pattern paper in this collection. It covers all seasons making it perfect for crafting year round.
I used embossing of the white panel as there was a lot of white and I wanted to give it some interest. I love the snowflake pattern and even though it was green I love how it looks on this card.
When you cut down the one rectangle you get the negative also which can be used to make a second card. It is easy as you use the same measurements and supplies. Check out the 2 cards below.
The snowflake is perfect for decorating the inside of the card and envelope. I love the delicate look of this snowflake.
I have used several of the patterns from the collection for my cards. I used the polka dot pattern paper for this card. This pattern is great for using with seashells.
The snowflakes are retired but were perfect for this card. I love how they take on the color of the card base.
