Hello Ladies!
Well we had a great time at the demo dinner last night. There were only 6 of us when it was supposed to be 10. Not sure what happened to the other 4 but we carried on and made some decisions.
Today I ran across a watercolor wash idea that I decided to try for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
I started with a piece of Shimmery White card stock. I created a watercolor wash where I added 3 drops of reinker to 12 drops of water. I then used a paintbrush to paint diagonal stripes on the card stock. I did the yellow stripes first then went back and added the red stripes. I then let it dry. Here is what I had.
After that I masked off the bottom part of the image and inked up the flower image with Memento Tuxedo Black and stamped it on the striped image. I then mounted this onto a piece of Real Red card stock and mounted it onto a Whisper White card base. I stamped the sentiment onto the card stock and used the decorative label punch to punch it out and using dimensionals to add it to my card. Here is what my final creation looked like.

Thanks for visiting me today. I have some things to do this morning, but the afternoon is free so I will be in my craft room. Have a Terrific Tuesday.
