Summer Splash color combo idea

Summer Splash color combo idea

Hello everyone – looking for some color combos for the new in colors then look at today’s Summer Splash color combo idea.

Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. We are playing with the Poetic Expressions suite this month and I am sure you will find some gorgeous cards. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.

You may be starting here – Creations in Paper – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

It was hard to decide which color to choose for our blog hop. I ended up going with Summer Splash as it was so bright and cheery. I kept it simple and used the sketch challenge at Global Design Project.

I used 2 different embossing folders for the Summer Splash panels. I paired the color with Daffodil Delight and Gorgeous Grape. Here is what I came up with.

Looking for some ideas to use with the Cheerful Daisies bundle? Here is one that uses an alcohol spray to create a subtle background. Here is another with an embossed background.

As mentioned at the top this is a blog hop the links are listed below so make sure you “hop” around to see all the amazing projects on this hop. Click on the links below to visit them and see the Sale-a-bration cards they have created.

The tutorial for the In Color ideas will go on sale on May 1st. Watch for the post to get some ideas for using the new In Colors. There are 2 ways you can get the tutorial – the first is to place a $35 order using my host code during March. The other is to purchase it from my “Tutorials for Sale” tab on May 1st.

I can’t list the new In Color in the list of supplies but here are the rest of the items used.
