Sunburst idea for sketch challenge at Craftin’ Round the World

Hello everyone – I went for a fun technique with today’s Sunburst idea for sketch challenge at Craftin’ Round the World.
When I saw the sketch challenge at Craftin’ Round the World challenges I could not wait to make a card using this technique and thought it would be fun to try with a cute snowman. I pulled in 5 sheets of pattern paper with a snow theme to use on this card.
Today’s project
There is a sketch option this month that uses a fun technique and I knew I wanted to give it a try.

This technique uses rectangles that are cut on the diagonal to make the sunburst design. I used some blue and brown pattern paper with a snow theme to make my sunburst. All the papers come from the same collection so it makes it easy to find ones that coordinate. To color the snowman I chose blue and brown based not the colors in the pattern paper.

I pulled in a blue metallic paper to make the scallop border below the sunburst. I think that cute snowman is perfect for the snow pattern paper don’t you? I sprinkled some mini snowflake gems on the card front to emphasize the theme.

I have a love of snowman and love crafting with them. Here is a fun scene that uses a mini snowman for a winter card. Here is another idea that uses a split front card with a snowman peeker also.
