Take Ten Hello

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I got a lot done yesterday.  I managed to get my Butterfly Bushes cut WAY back.  I was very severe in my trimming so I hope I did not kill them.  They had become so overgrown and gangly that I had to be brutal.  I have heard they are very hardy so maybe they will be just small and bushy this year.  Anyone know anything about them?

I also got my bathrooms cleans.  I am not fond of cleaning but it is something that has to be done so I bit the bullet and do it.

And to top my day off I made 4 cards!  I was so excited to have a lot of cards made that I can post as needed.  So as you can see yesterday was very productive!

Today I have several workshops.  I am hoping I get some time to make some more cards.  It would be fun to play with some challenges so I will see what I can do.

My card today was one that I saw in my Take Ten magazine.  I loved the simplicity of the card so I used the idea and modified it.  My card stock colors were the same as the ones in the book.  They also used a doily but I changed my sentiment.  They had a striped ribbon but I thought it would be fun to use a chevron ribbon. Their card also had a cut out heart but I chose to use the cute flower from Botanical Blooms.  Here is my version of the card from the magazine.

If you ever get stumped about what to do on your card, pull out a magazine.  Look through and find a card you like and then add your own twists to it.  Before you know it your card is finished.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I may have to make a video to show you how you can take a picture and make your own card.  Have a Fabulous Friday!

Robbie
