Thank You Card

Hello Everyone – if you need an idea for a thank you card, then check out my share for today.

One of my favorite flowers is the cone flower. I just love how much they look like daisies. For my card I chose to color them to look like sunflowers – daisies, cone flowers, and sunflowers all look alike to me!

I love the coneflower image in the Nature’s Harvest stamp set. I was amazed at how many colors the coneflowers come in. You can find all different colors to use for you cards so this image is perfect for whatever card you want to create.

The Harvest Meadow pattern paper has some beautiful pattern paper for Fall. It is easy to create when you have gorgeous paper to start with. All the colors used for my card were based on the pattern paper and the flower itself. Alcohol Markers are perfect for coloring the image. It allows you to add some shading on the flower. Here are the details you would need to make your version of the card.

Measurements

Card base: So Saffron – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Early Espresso layer: 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
Crumb Cake strip: 1″ x 4″
Soft Suede panel for image: 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
Very Vanilla image panel: 2 1/2″ x 4″
Harvest Meadow pattern paper: yellow and orange flower pattern – 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
Crumb Cake sprig pattern – 3/4″ x 3 3/4″

I also stamp the inside of my card and envelope. In this case I used the same image as on the card front. Here is what it looked like.
