Happy Friday Stampers!
I have some ladies coming this morning for my Swap Stampede class. I had a couple on Tuesday evening and they loved the cards and the ideas they can use when they see a card they like.
Today is the Paper Plunge challenge. This week we are using Basic Gray and one other color. This was a no brainer for me as I love gray and pink together. I decided to use Blushing Bride as I wanted a darker pink than Pink Pirouette.
I decided to see if I could find a challenge I could use. I checked out some challenge blogs and found a great idea at SU – Only Challenges. Their challenge was to make a card without any words. Since most of the time I don’t use sentiments on my card this was an easy one to do.
I pulled out my supplies and started creating layers. Once I had my layers made I decided to do some embossing. I was much happier with the embossed layers.
I then decided to use the new corner punch to make a tag for the top of the layers. Once my tag was made I needed to decorate it. I went with some flowers using my punches. I then added some matching ribbon and my card is finished. Here is my creation.

We would love to have you join us this week and show us what you can make using Basic Gray and one other color. Check out the challenge and the design team cards at The Paper Plunge.
Thanks for visiting me today. I will be working on some other videos to share as I have some other ideas as well as working on my alternative ideas for the August Paper Pumpkin. Have a Fabulous Friday!
