The Paper Plunge – Monochromatic

Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend.  I am heading to my friend’s in North Carolina for a week.  I am so looking forward to seeing her and spending time chatting.  I will have a post for you each day so make sure you check in to see what I created for you.

Only 5 days left for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

I am loving all the different coloring I am seeing as other participate in this challenge.

Today is also the challenge at The Paper Plunge.  This week we have a monochromatic challenge.  We were to create a monochromatic card.  I thought I would do some sponge coloring of some embossed flowers and combine it with some stamping of some solid images.  I chose to use Wisteria Wonder.  Here is my coloring panel.

After I had my panel created I decided to cut out around the flowers and mount it on a piece of Wisteria Wonder card stock.  Before I mounted it I added some 1/8 inch silver taffeta ribbon.  Then I needed a sentiment and since I had a request for some birthday cards I decided to make this one a birthday card.  After I stamped the sentiment I punched it out with the Duo Ticket punch.  Here is what my final creation looked like.
