Good Morning Everyone!
Well yesterday I did not get half of what I wanted to get done. I had hoped to get several cards made. I did get my card for today and a few others but that was it. I am so behind!
We are slowly closing in on the end of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
I have enjoyed this session also. It has really helped me to try some new techniques and different ways of coloring. Helps me think outside the box.
Today I thought about the fact that I had made an inlaid butterfly with coloring behind it. I remembered I had a rose plate that creates a small panel with cut out roses. I thought I would use that idea for my card today.
I began my taking my piece of white and masking off an edge so that the center space was the size of the completed rose panel. I then sponged on Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, and Tangerine Tango in a random pattern. Here is what the panel looked like when I was finished.
Next I cut our my rose panel and I decided to use Basic Black. I wanted the dramatic effect so that is why I chose black. I then mounted my rose panel on top of my sponged area lining up the edges as close as possible. I wanted to really emphasize the dramatic effect so I mounted this onto a piece of Tangerine Tango. I added my ribbon at the top and chose the gold taffeta to give it a little bling. My sentiment went on the bottom. This was then mounted onto my card base. My card was done. Here is what my completed project looks like.

Thanks for visiting me today. I have to work at the college tonight for a little bit so I am hoping to be able to come home and play after that. Have a Great Day!
