Very Versailles and Brightly Gleaming

Hello Everyone ~ my card today is a clean and simple Very Versailles and Brightly Gleaming creation.

I was able to cross off a few of the cards on my list that I need for my blog.  I ended up having to go have my car inspected as my tags are due this month.  Something I did not plan on.  Today I have to do some cleaning but will also work on some things on my list.  I don’t have anything on my schedule for today so I should have lots of time to work on my list.  Hopefully I will get quite a few things crossed off.

The Brightly Gleaming designer series paper is part of my 2019 Product Share.  The paper has copper accents on one side and the other side has some great patterns.  I looked at one of the patterns and thought it would look good with the Very Versailles stamp set.  I like using paper with stamp sets that are not part of the same suite.  It helps you extend your supplies as well as shows how the paper can be used with other stamp sets.  I have already posted an idea for every pattern of the Feels Like Frost dsp and I am working on the Brightly Gleaming now.  Check out the product share and sign up now

My creation today uses a stamp set that was inspired by the designer series paper.  When I looked at the dsp I knew it would look fabulous with the Very Versailles stamp set.  I took the leaf spray and using Pretty Peacock ink it was stamped hanging down the left hand side of the Very Vanilla card base.  The filigree stamp was stamped using a second generation stamping of Pretty Peacock in the upper right hand corner.  I wanted a sentiment inside the image so I went looking and found one in the Bloom and Grow stamp set.  It was stamped using the same ink.  The Brightly Gleaming dsp was cut in 1″ squares.  I used 4 of the squares to create a diamond shape in the lower right hand corner.  The last square was mounted onto a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock.  This square was then mounted to the center of the diamond shape using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Very Versailles and Brightly Gleaming creation.

Inchies can be a great way to add an element to your card front. Here is an idea using Very Versailles and Brightly Gleaming dsp.

This leaf spray creates a great card front. Check out the Very Versailles and Brightly Gleaming dsp to see how the 2 are used together.
