Good Morning Ladies ~ My card today reminded me of a Watercolor Meadow. Let me know if you agree.
Yesterday was hectic! I had 3 classes. I got them all in but I did not have any time to breathe. The ladies enjoyed the cards and since we played with new items from the catalog they liked seeing the paper and colors. I have one class left on Saturday and then I will be working on the Bags & Tags and another class. It will be busy for a few days!
Today our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop is all about some Beach Fun. We have a great photo of a beautiful beach and the colors were matched with our Stampin’ Up colors. Here is the photo and color matches.

I wasn’t sure what direction to go in when I saw these colors. I saw the 2 greens as leaves. I did not want to do flowers with the other colors so I started looking through my stamps for another idea. I ran across my Watercolor Wings stamp set and then knew I would use butterflies. I stamped the Wisteria butterfly with second and third generation stamping to get lighter colors of the ink. For the other butterfly I used the Marina Mist and did a second and first generation stamping. To finish off the butterfly I used my Island Indigo for the top layer. I then used the leaf spray from Crazy About You and stamped them across the bottom of the card layer. I added some of our new Silver Natural Trim ribbon. I attached this to the card base and used dimensionals on my butterflies. To finish of the butterflies I added a strip of pearls for the body. Here is my completed card.

Now it is time to check out the other ladies and their creations. Hop on down the line to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she did with these colors.
Thanks for visiting me today. The weather is supposed to be much cooler so I am hoping to spend some time in my flower beds. Have a Wonderful Wednesday and what would your Watercolor Meadow look like?
