White with a pop of color takes me back to my Convention days. My friend and I used to host a swap that was black and white with a pop of color. So fun and we got a variety of ideas.
Today’s Project
This card was so easy using the Kinsley Heart Plate Layer set. The 3 layers do all the work. I added a piece of red behind one of the hearts to highlight the image. I love the layers and how they create the flower inside the heart. A great way to create an intricate design. You can also use each layer by itself. I could see this done with different shades of pink and red behind each heart! That would be a beautiful card.
This card is elegant so I added a thin white bow. I also used some red gems to pull in a little more of the color.
I have done quite a few pop of color cards. Here is one where I used dragonflies for the pop. Here is one of the cards I did for Convention where I used black and white with a pop of color.

white cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 14″
4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ – 3 pieces
red cardstock – scrap for behind on of the hearts.
