Anything Goes Saturday – Flower Soft

Hello stampers – today’s Anything Goes Saturday – Flower Soft card uses a product that adds lots of texture to your card.
Flower Soft is shaved foam that has tiny bits you can use glue to stick to your project. When the glue dries you have a soft texture on your card.
Today’s Projects
After I researched how to use the flower soft, I looked at my colors and chose several stamps I could use to make my cards. For today’s idea I found a Queen Anne’s lace image in my stash and knew I could use the white for it. I stamped it with Memento Gray Flannel ink. I then used some glue and added the flower soft. I let it dry then used a teal alcohol marker to trace the stems and leaves. I wanted a background so I checked my stash and found a black and white pattern paper that I could use. I chose to use a panel of colored cardstock behind the stamped image for a pop of color.

To bring interest to the image I offset the image panel in the lower left hand corner of the card front. I finished the image with some teal gems.

There are many ways to add texture to your cards. You can use a die like the one used on this card. There are lots of embossing folder that also add texture like the one used on this card.

I have some other ideas to share with you using this product like Anything Goes Saturday – Flower Soft. Check back next week to see what I make with it for that card.
