Sunday Ideas – Christmas in July

Hello everyone – time for Sunday ideas – Christmas in July card ideas.
Can you believe Christmas is only 6 months away? I thought I would take Sunday’s in July and share some Christmas cards to inspire you for ideas you can use to start working on your cards.
Today’s Project
I recently ordered the Chunky Arch Layer dies from My Creative Time. I wanted to use them for today’s card so I could play with them. I used them to create a background for the ephemera piece. These dies have one set with a scallop edge and the other set had stitching around it making it perfect for the layer. I found a sentiment in my stash and used it at the top. Here is a clean and simple idea for a Christmas card.

I had some blue, white, and silver baker’s twine in my stash that I used behind the ephemera piece. I also added some silver gems. Check out how that scallop edge on the arch adds a nice touch.

This is my first play with these dies but My Creative Time has some other great dies. I have used the snowflake belly band from the shop on this card.
