CutCardStock in coral

Hello everyone – the CutCardStock in coral is my second card for today. Scroll down to see my first card for my new design team – Die Cut Divas.
I was looking at my stash of CutCardStock and wondering what color I could use for today’s card. I ran across the DC Flamingo and decided it would make pretty flowers so I pulled it out.
Today’s Project
I wanted to use another lighter color to give it some contrast so I found the Lessebo Blossom and used it also. To make my leaves I decided to use vellum for some interest. I also punched out the flower with vellum to add some interest. When I looked at it, I felt it needed a butterfly so I used the same colors and die cut one. Here is the completed card.

The Flamingo cardstock has a shiny finish which gives it a classy look. The card still needed something for the plain background. I used the Crosshatch Texture die from Waffle Flower to add a pattern that it needed. The flowers and butterfly have lots of layers. The center was punched to add another layer and give the flower a more realistic look. A silver gem was added in the center for some sparkle.

This punch has been in my stash for many years. This card uses a star border die to create the fun flower spray. Here is another idea where the flower was layered and a different punch was used in the center.
