Hello everyone – I have been accepted into the Die Cut Divas design team and my first project is this Die Cur Divas – Christmas in July with Waffle Flower card.

This month the theme is Christmas in July!

I love Christmas anytime of the year so getting to play with my Christmas products is perfect. Waffle Flower is offering a $15 gift card to the winner from the challenge. Pull out your Waffle Flower products and join us by making a Christmas card.

Today’s Project

I have only a few Waffle Flower Christmas products so I had to do some thinking outside the box. I had a flower die and wondered if I could use it to make a Christmas Rose. When I looked up images of a Christmas Rose I knew I could make it work. I created my roses and then needed a background. The Sweet Plaid Texture Die make the perfect simple background.

I needed a sentiment so I shopped my stash and found a Merry Christmas that I could emboss with silver. I chose to use silver to tie in the silver edge on the ribbon.

Here is a card that uses the same background die with a different flower stencil for a pink idea. This postage die from Waffle Flower is fun to work with. I can’t wait to use it for a Christmas idea!
