Anything Goes Saturday – inside journal cover and page 4

Happy Saturday stampers – continuing to work on my journal by sharing the Anything Goes Saturday – inside journal cover and page 4.
I am going to work through my journal page by page finishing up the pages that have not been completed. There are a lot of pages that need some ephemera so for the rest of the month I will work on them so the journal will be completed by the end of the month.
Today’s project
I began with the inside cover and added some ephemera on the left side of the page. I added some botanicals and a tag. The tag is tucked behind the plant on top and isn’t really noticeable. I think it should have had some inking or an image stamped on it so it would stand out more. The next page that needed to be completed was page 4. I wanted it to coordinate with the right hand page so I found a flower that matched the color. It would have been lost on the page so I used an image from another page that I cut out.

A moth/butterfly was used on each page. Page 4 also had a botanical added which ripped when I tried to glue it down. I added the 2 pieces and you really can’t see it was torn.

I loved the tabs that were created to help turn the pages. You can see those tabs here. I have tried using acrylic paint on my mixed media pages. I think I did better on this page than in other pages I have tried.
