Anything Goes Saturday – Lumiere paint

Happy Saturday stampers – our Anything Goes Saturday – Lumiere paint card uses a product I found when I was organizing
I was nervous that my jar of Lumiere was dried out. When I opened it it was somewhat thick. I put some on my glass mat and blended in some water. It was thin enough to then use on my projects.
Today’s Project
I did some research and found several ways to use the paint. I could not decide which one to use, so I opted to do a panel for each technique. The first technique is the Mother of Pearl technique. You take a piece of plastic wrap and dab the Lumiere all over the background. When I made my card I sponged on some light pink and light turquoise ink then created my card.

The second technique was to stamp an image with the paint. I tried several ways but I am wondering if using the paint on a glass mat like an ink pad would have worked better. Will be one to try. After the image dried I used my colored pencils to color the entire image white then colored over it with other colors. Here is how I finished off this card.

The final technique is to stamp an image and emboss it then color the image using the paint. I painted the daisy petals with the paint and used my shimmery watercolors to color the other parts of the image. Here is how I finished that card.

To see how to make these 3 techniques using Lumiere, here is the video for it.

While I have had this product for quite some time I could only find one other post where I had used it. Here is another idea for the Mother of Pearl technique.
