Anything Goes Saturday – some decorated pages
Happy Saturday stampers – are you ready to see some more pages with the Anything Goes Saturday – some decorated pages in my journal?
I worked on a few more pages in the journal. There are only one or two more lessons and it will be complete. I love how Jamie has decorated the pages. There is so much to learn in this class.
Today’s Project
It is now time to decorate some of the pages that were already added when the spine was completed. Starting with page one a 3′ x 4″ sentiment card was added. A filmstrip was pulled in for some added interest. The second page uses another piece of filmstrip along with a fun typewriter laser cut. The next step adds a 3″ x 4″ sentiment card as a flip element. The last page for this week adds another full page and some botanical laser cuts.
I love how the frame creates a landing spot for the butterfly on page 1. The piece of the leftover filmstrip was used on the back of the piece used on page one to finish it off. Using the 3″ x 4″ sentiment card is a great way to add a flip in your journal giving it interest. Combining botanicals with a butterfly like on the last page gives a nature feel to your page.
