Chocolate, red, and pink is always associated with Valentine’s Day. That was the perfect color combo for today’s idea.
Today’s Project
I have a Valentine paper pad in my stash and pulled it out for today’s card. It had all the colors I was planning on using on my card. I also needed an image for the card front. I didn’t find one I really liked in the paper pad but I did find a fun word swag. I decided to create my own swag sentiment for the card.
The paper pad had some chocolate and pink dotted paper as well as some pink and chocolate dotted paper. They were both perfect to pair with the Pop Tone Hot Fudge cardstock from CutCardStock. I used another pattern paper to form a background for the swag letter flags. Some gold gems were used to give the creations a little bling.
CutCardStock has some great colors to use for Valentine’s Day cards. Here is a card that uses one of the reds you can order. This idea uses pink and another shade of brown for a sweet treat card.
