Christmas in July with CutCardStock

Hello everyone – If you make cards this month, here is an idea for Christmas in July with CutCardStock.
I decided to do more ideas for you this month. So I will also be making Christmas cards using CutCardStock this month. Here is a fun idea using some decoupage pieces.
Today’s Project
I had gotten some decoupage panels from Scrapbook.com that I wanted to use on my card. I loved the Santa and reindeer image so I chose that one to use for my card today. I had some pattern paper that I liked and was going to use it but I decided to see if I could recreate it using stamps and CutCardStock cardstock. I started with the background. I had a stamp with cute reindeers that I got in the Unity Advent Calendar. I used it with a slightly darker ink than the cardstock and created my background. The next layer was a pattern paper with stockings all over. I found a stocking in my stash and used it to stamp then colored with alcohol markers. The red polka dot pattern paper was from my stash. I added most of the layers with a mat.

I had a fun sentiment in one of my sets that I used. I loved the play on words “Ho Ho Holidays” as a perfect sentiment for the card. I fell in love with the decoupage image of Santa and the reindeer. It was just what the card needed. I finished it off with some gold gems.

CutCardStock has so many colors you can use to create Christmas cards. Here is a blue idea that also used a Santa. And how about a pink idea for another Christmas card with a different color combination.
