Coloring Down the Lines – Thanks

Hello Everyone!

Well I had 2 great classes yesterday and even managed to work on 2 swaps I signed up for.  I am doing a Wedding tag swap and an embellishments swap.  I got my Wedding tag almost completed and my embellishments are 2/3 of the way completed.  I did all that in between my 2 classes.  I would say I had a successful day.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week we have a short hop.  One of our ladies got stung by a bee on her hand and she is highly allergic to them so her hand is extremely swollen and she cannot use it.  Another lady has computer issues and cannot access her files.  The last lady had a very busy week at work and did not have time to make a card.  So that leaves 3 of us.  We will do our best to give you some fabulous creations.

This month we have an April Showers theme.  We chose photos that have rain in them.  Here is our photo and colors for this week.

So I decided to use my Timeless Textures stamp set for the edges.  I chose to use Sahara Sand so I was deciding about using that color as a background.  I pulled out my card stock and found a scrap that I had cut incorrectly and decided to base my card around it.  I stamped the edges of my layer and applied my scrap.  Then I used the Floral Frames framelits to create my flower.  I needed some leaves so I pulled out my Flower Patch and stamped the leaves and then used coordinating framelit to cut it out.  I attached the leaves to the back of the flower and then applied it to my card front.  I was planning on stamping a sentiment but changed my mind and used the Greetings thinlets.  Here is my final creation.

So are you ready to see what the other 2 ladies did with these colors?  Hop on over to Joni’s blog – Joni in the Spotlight Stamping and check out her creation.  Make sure you leave her some love and then check out Sandy’s blog also.
Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a planning meeting this morning and then I will be finishing up my swaps and making more cards for you to examine.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
Robbie
