CutCardStock Clean & Simple: pattern paper and a die cut make it quick

Hello everyone – You can make a great card with just a few supplies like this CutCardStock Clean & Simple: pattern paper and a die cut make it quick idea.
I was inspired by a card I saw online in the CAS group. I liked it and thought you might like to see the same layout with my interpretation.
Today’s Project
I fell in love with the card I saw and decided to see what supplies I had that I could use to make my version. I began by choosing the blue snowflake background. I loved this paper from the collection and wanted to use it. I searched in my stash and found a simple silver striped pattern I could use with it. A simple card needs a simple sentiment. I found one in my stash that I stamped in blue to make the theme of the card.

This cloudy pattern paper is a great compliment to the striped paper. I love blue and silver together don’t you? To stick to the same color palette I punched my tree using a blue cardstock. I finished it off with silver gems.

I love using blue as an alternate Christmas color. Here is another card using a different collection in a different shade of blue. And how about a beach Christmas card with some pretty blue water.
