Fall in Love with Florals: A Beautiful Autumn Pattern Paper Card
Hello everyone – I am sharing the Fall in Love with Florals: A Beautiful Autumn Pattern Paper Card where you use 2 sheets of pattern paper and get 2 cards with the same layout.
I was inspired by this layout I saw online. In thinking about it I realized I could make 2 cards with the same layout using 2 papers with the same design. This pattern paper grabbed my attention and was begging me to use it. I thought it would be perfect for this layout.
Today’s Project
This layout uses a piece of pattern paper the size you need for your card base. Then using a diagonal cut you get 2 pieces. I had the idea to take a second sheet of the same paper and flip it over and use the same cut to get the same 2 pieces. Then you can mix and match the papers to get 2 cards. I mounted my cards on a mat to highlight the paper. I also took another paper from the collection and added a strip across the line where the 2 pattern papers meet. I think this paper adds to the 2 papers used.
I didn’t have a general statement that I liked to use on the cards so I googled some general sentiments for cards and found several I liked. I then created a word document and typed in the sentiments. I printed them using my computer and colors that went with the cards. I finished the card with some gold gems.
I finished the card with some gold gems sprinkled around the sentiment and in with the flowers.

natural cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ 2 pieces
panel to print sentiments on
maroon cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4: 2 pieces
pattern paper – floral pattern – 3 1/2″ x 5″ this should have been 3 3/4″ x 5″ and you won’t have to trim your mat
watercolor pattern – 3 13/16″ x 5 1/16″
maroon watercolor pattern – 3/4″ x 6″
