A Touch of Transparency: Creating a Beautiful Vellum Journal Page
Hello everyone – I was excited about this idea for A Touch of Transparency: Creating a Beautiful Vellum Journal Page to go in the journal.
A vellum page is a great idea to add a touch of the unexpected to your journal. It is easier than you think as the you can see in the video.
Today’s Project
The vellum creates a beautiful addition to the journal. It is also a pocket which makes it great place to stash some important memorabilia. The vellum allows the back page to show through subtly. Since the vellum is folded you need to use a sturdy vellum. It is added to the journal with some double sided tape.

Lots of texture and interest is added with a combination of ephemera and another filmstrip die cut. Tags are a great way to add a sentiment. Don’t forget to add a botanical to your cluster.

The vellum page is an interesting addition to the journal. Another fun idea to use in your journal is painting on one of the pages like this idea. Mixed media can create a great page for your journal. Here is an idea using different media.
