Frost Kissed Gratitude from Unity Stamp company

Hello everyone – the Frost Kissed Gratitude from Unity Stamp company is a great image to use with the Frostborne pattern paper.
Another pattern paper collection I had was the Frostborne collection. I wanted to use it so I went #ShopYourCraftStash to find a stamp I could use with one of the papers.
Today’s Project
I checked out the papers in the collection and liked the one with the bird on the berry branch. I decided to use my postage die to cut it out. I used another pattern from the collection as the layer behind it. I attached the image layer at an angle for some interest. To highlight the red berries I chose to use a red panel as the background. I wanted a fun image for the card front. I found an adorable snowman in one of my sets. I stamped it on white cardstock and colored the cuff of the hat and mittens with a red marker. I also colored the pompom red to tie it with the berry branch. The snowman was too stark against the background so I took some Antique Linen distress ink and sponged it over the image to tie it into the background more. While it is still lighter than the background it is not as stark as it was before the ink. He is a cute addition to the card don’t you think?

I wanted a sentiment and the ones in the snowman set was not what I was looking for. I checked my stash and found one I could use in another set. I finished the card with some silver sequins.

I have used that cute snowman with this pattern paper before. Look at this cute card using the same products as today’s card. I have also used the pattern paper with other images from Unity like this adorable fairy!
