Hello Stampers – Are you ready for some fun embossing?
Well I totally missed the forecast for yesterday. It basically rained most of the day. Needless to say I did not get to my flower beds. I did however do some things in my craft room. I have cards to post for the next couple of days so I can focus on my Bags & Tags classes this week. I always love having cards to post ahead of time!
For my card today I actually began with a sketch but then went in a different direction so this ended up being my own design. When I got the Floral Affection embossing folder I was so excited. I will be honest I have tried embossing it using a piece of card stock. My Big Shot is so tight that it kept creasing the paper. I have to devise a way to be able to emboss it so it does not do that. Since I had an idea I wanted to work with, I decided to use the opposite way to be able to use it. I cut my banner using the framelits. Then I positioned the paper in my embossing folder and ran it through my Big Shot. It did emboss it without creasing the paper. I then used my 2016 – 2018 markers to color the top of the embossing. I loved the look! I mounted it on a piece of Dapper Denim card stock. I then used the Softly Falling embossing folder to emboss my background. I attached the background to my card base and the banner on top of that. Now I needed a sentiment. I went to a set that was a special photopolymer set from last year and used one of my favorite saying from the set. Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today. I am excited to start the second session of Bags & Tags this evening. It will be fun to teach them more things they can do with their punch board. Have a Terrific Tuesday and do some fun embossing yourself today!

This is really nice. The embossing is great and the coloring perfect. When I first looked at your card I thought you embroidered it. That is how sharp the embossing and coloring is. Great card.
