Halloween idea for CutCardStock

Hello everyone – this month I will be working on some cards for Halloween and the Halloween idea for CutCardStock is my first idea.
I love designing for Halloween so this month I will be making some Halloween cards to share with you. For this one I pulled in some of my stash I have had for a while.
Today’s Project
For today’s idea I began with an embossing folder that had spider webs all over it. Once I had it embossed I pulled in some washi tape I have and added some strips across the top. The Cougar white smooth cardstock is great for dry embossing. The panel was then added to an Epic Black card base. This is a great heavy weight cardstock and can stand up to lots of layers. I then used 3 colors you would associate with Halloween to create squares for my punched images.

I chose 3 colors that I associate with Halloween for the squares. The Flame orange is the perfect background for the bat. The Galax green was used to hang the spider from. The Plum was used for the witch. The photo is a little dark so it is hard to see the witch punch out. The washi tape was used to give some interest to the card.

CutCardStock has many fun color you can use for your crafting. The Flame cardstock also makes great pumpkins like these. The Plum is also a color I have used a lot for flowers and their background. This card used it as a background.
