Hand Stamped Sentiments – Festive Moments

Hello Stampers!

Well spent some time in the upstairs bedroom yesterday.  I was able to pack up my cross stitching and put it in the storage closet as well as get my magazines sorted and packed.  Today my goal will be to look at my sewing stuff and get it organized and put away.  I am getting there slowly but surely.

Today is our Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.  This week we had a color challenge.

These colors were pale and I wondered what they would look like as snowflakes.  I decided to use that idea for my card.  Here is what I created.

I so wish we had a “Let it Snow” stamp.  It would have been perfect for this card.  Instead I used a sentiment from Happy Day and used my marker to ink up only part of the sentiment. I also used a spritzer to dye my ribbon as I wanted it to be Soft Sky.

Wouldn’t you love to see what the other ladies on the design team created using these colors?  Head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to see their creations.  We would love to have join us this week and share what you would do with these colors.  Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!

  1. I love your snowflakes in these colors, they're so soft and feminine looking! Perfect idea for the combo – I felt like I stumbled on this one! Your card is lovely!
