Late Night Techno Mums

Happy Monday Everyone!

Well what a weekend I had!  Jess came down on Friday on the premise we were going to finish up the upstairs for their arrival in a few weeks.  Well when she got here she was sick.  I have not seen her this sick in a long time.  She basically spent the weekend sleeping and I spent it watching Zoie.  So I have my work cut out for me the next few weeks.  I have got to set a goal for each day or it will never get done.  Today my goal is to go through the magazines I have in the room and get them straight.  I will let you know how I do each day.

My card today is for the Late Night Stampers challenge to use these colors

Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, and Tangerine Tango.

I combined it with the sketch challenge at Mary Jo’s Techno Stamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  Here is the sketch she gave us.    

I didn’t want to use a circle shape in the center as I thought everyone would do that.  I took some creative license to use the mum from Blooming With Kindness set to create a circle of mums.  Here is my finished creation.

So what do you think of my card?  How about you, what would you have done with the circle image?  Think about grabbing some stamping supplies and joining us.  We would love to see what you do with the color or the sketch challenge.

I also discovered the edge punch I used is retired.  Need to move that out of the current drawer.  Did you see the background designer series paper I used.  That is actually the Witches Brew ds paper.  I covered the spiders up with rhinestones.  I am hoping to use up this paper so I don’t have any left over.
