Hey Lady Clean and Simple

Hello Everyone ~ I have a Hey Lady Clean and Simple idea for you today.

Today is National Cheesesteak Day!  Support your local restaurants and find a mom and pop shop and order Cheesesteak Sandwiches for pick up!  Great way to have dinner quick and easy!

The dentist called me yesterday and had to cancel my appointment next week as they are closing for only emergencies.  They did have a cancellation that day that I took.  I love having clean teeth!  When I got home I made a You Tube video as I discovered you have to have 1,000 subscribers before you can do a You Tube Live.  I had planned on doing a You Tube Live showing how to make a cute Easter Treat holder and a coordinating card.  I made the video showing how to do both those projects and posted them on You Tube.  Then I cut for my workshop today.  It is very small and those coming have not traveled and have stayed home.  It will probably be my last one for a while.  I am thinking of doing some online classes with kits to help people get through this quarantine.  I am also thinking of doing another Facebook Live showing a card you can make using a specific set.  Do you like this idea and would you tune in?

Today’s creation uses the hostess set from Sale-a-bration.  The Little Ladybug stamp set is adorable and makes clean and simple cards.  The best part was Satmpin’ Up came out with a coordinating die set.  To begin I took my Poppy Parade card base and embossed the front using the Subtle embossing folder.  The flower and ladybug image were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The flower was colored using markers and the ladybug was colored with colored pencils.  The coordinating dies were used to cut them out.  The flower was added to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The ladybug was attached using dimensionals.  The grass dies and Granny Apple Green card stock were used to cut out 2 of the clumps and then added to the bottom of the flower using glue.  The sentiment is part of the stamp set and was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The 1 1/4″ circle punch was used to punch it out and then the 1 3/8″ scallop circle punch was used to punch out a Basic Black circle.  The 2 circles were layered and then added to the card front using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Hey Lady Clean and Simple creation.
