Layered Anemone with CutCardStock

Hello everyone – today’s card is a pink Layered Anemone with CutCardStock idea.
Using a few die cuts and pretty pink paper you can create a gorgeous card. Often I am not sure what to create for these posts. I go looking for layouts, cards I like I can C.A.S.E., or something that inspires me. For today’s card I saw a card that inspired me to come up with this idea.
Today’s Project
I began by trying to find a flower die that I could use. The original card had a panel the flower was on. I chose to use an octagon die as my background. When I cut it out there was a frame left so I decided to use it on the card as an added element.

I added some ink shading to the flowers and the stems for some interest. All I needed then was a sentiment. To add some bling I used some pink gems for the flower centers and sprinkled some on the card front.

I apparently love this pink color as I have used it a lot. Here is an idea for an embellishment cluster that used a fun shape along with the Blossom cardstock. This card uses the pink with a coral ink blending for a different look to the pink.

I hope you are inspired to look at your shape dies to use as a background like the one on the Layered Anemone with CutCardStock idea.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
