Mixed Media Monday #2
Hello everyone – I am back with the Mixed Media Monday #2 idea.
I went with a blue and green color combo for this idea. I also used a lot of different stamp sets for this idea.
Today’s Creation
I decided to use Treetops and Cloudless watercolor inks for today’s idea. I did a wet on wet technique for this one. Wet on Wet is where you add water to your paper and then add your wet ink. This method allows the ink to flow wherever the water is. The next step was to add some stamping. To try a different product I added some texture paste using a stencil. I finished it off with some flowers and leaves.
Check out the pattern of the stencil I used. This is my first time using it but it won’t be my last. I love it! The pop of red and yellow on the little flowers add a great rest for your eyes from all the blue and green.
