Flowers and rustic strips for CutCardStock

Hello everyone – the Flowers and rustic strips for CutCardStock idea reminds me of flowers at a fence post.
I saw the strips of embossed paper on another card and wanted to use it for today’s idea. There was something that spoke to me about them.
Today’s Project
I created an embossed panel first and then swiped on some ink. The panel was cut into strips then I glued them onto the base panel in a staggered manner. I die cut some flower, leaves and butterfly. I used dies that gave the die cut an embossed look. They were cluster in the corner where the embossed strips crossed. The addition of another layer to the card base gives it an elegant look.

Look at the detail on that butterfly. So pretty and I cut it out with some shimmer paper. To finish off the card, I added some silver gems. I just love how this card turned out. What do you think?

The CutCardStock different offerings are perfect for die cutting. Check out this card that creates a swag using the CutCardStock. Here is another idea to show how well the CutCardStock embosses with dies.
