Playing with magnolias for Sunday Ideas
Hello everyone – This month I am using a Unity stamp set I have had for a while and I am Playing with magnolias for Sunday Ideas today.
I have been using long lost products the past couple of months and I decided to use a stamp set and pattern paper I have had for 6 months and have not used. I will be playing with these products for the rest of this month so come back to see what I create with them.
Today’s Project
My first step was to choose the pattern paper I was going to use. After that I found some brown cardstock in my stash that matched. The stamp set is really large so in order to get the image to look like the images in the pattern paper I used watercolor markers to color the stamp. I chose 2 shades of brown and a green to match the pattern paper. After you color a large image you have to huff on it to remoisten the ink. Check out the image on the card below.
The pattern paper had one that had a spray at the top right and bottom left corners of the sheet. I used the one with the left corner image. To finish the card I sprinkled on some gold gems.
