Mixed Media Monday #11

Hello everyone – wait until you see the blue Mixed Media Monday #11 idea, so cute!
I wanted to use an idea from Jamie Pate’s clusters and used some pattern paper that I tore the edge on.
Today’s Project
I began by creating my background. I used a watercolor wash and used a baby wipe to blend it. I had picked out my pattern paper so I attempted to match my watercolor background color. To add some texture to my page I tore the edges of the pattern paper. I ended it with some small flowers and leaf stems. I had my entire page finished and it was missing something so I went back and added some stamping.

The page seemed to be flat being one color so I added some yellow butterflies to match the center of the flowers. I stamped the sentiment in a darker blue than the ink used for the background.
