Pocket Idea for Polkadoodles Crafts

Hello everyone – I have another fun Pocket Idea for Polkadoodles Crafts today.
Creating a pocket for your card is easy. Cut a rectangle. Find the center on one end of the rectangle. Mark up each side from the end with the center mark and cut the corner off of each side. There is your pocket.
Today’s Project
After I had my pocket made I needed a background, so I used one of the other patterns in the download. I chose to use one that was not too busy. I added some lace to my pocket and added it to my card base. I printed a bunch of flowers from the download and used alcohol markers to color them. They were then tucked into the pocket to create a pocketful of flowers.

Some butterflies were printed and colored and added to the card front fluttering around the flowers. The sentiment from another download was printed out and added to some of the pattern paper used for the pocket. I finished it off with some gold gems.

Polkadoodles has so many printables to choose from. I fell in love with this fun birthday image and had to use it to create my card. I love how you can coordinate the images and pattern paper from all the downloads. Here is an example of a few of the downloads I combined.
