Reduce, Reuse, Recycle for Die Cut Divas

Hello everyone – the theme for September is reduce, reuse, recycle and I got return envelope in a bill that I used for my Reduce, Reuse, Recycle for Die Cut Divas card.
Our sponsor this month is Art Impressions. They are giving a $25 gift card for the person who plays along and has their card chosen. Join us to win some money to spend!

Today’s Project
We all get bills. In those bills there is usually a return envelope for you to mail in your payment. I used that envelope to create a pocket for the front of my card. I cut the envelope to the size I wanted and sealed up the flap. I chose to use the Baby Keepsake stamp set. I loved the bear and giraffe. I needed some pattern paper and I remembered some paper I have had for a while and I used the green checked paper to cover the envelope. The new step was to make the pocket. I cut some white cardstock and added some green dotted pattern paper. I colored the giraffe and bear and cut them out. They were added to the panel using foam adhesives. The sentiment was punched out using a 1″ circle punch. To indicate the panel needs to be pulled out, I created some flags and used a ticket from the ephemera pack.

The card based was decorated with a striped pattern paper. All the paper were from the same collection so I knew they would go together. I also used the other animal and flowers and basket from the stamp set to create a little scene on the front of the card.

I have also recycled a package to create the holder for the fish on this card. I have used these envelopes to create other cards like these.
