I have a lot of pattern paper and I am always looking for ways to use it. I ran across the idea of busting your stash on You Tube and loved the idea. I decided to use the idea and create 4 cards using a sketch.
The Abstract Beauty specialty paper has great patterns and will be fun to play with other the next few weeks. This paper is on sale as it is retiring at the end of the month.

Since there really wasn’t any images stamped on the card front I went searching in my stamp sets and found a cute 3 flower cluster to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.
I got my idea for the layout from the My Favorite Things card sketches. They have lots of great card sketches to play with.
I have created some other cards you can easily use the layout for to bust your pattern paper stash. This one is a great guy card and a simple layout. All I needed for this gorgeous paper was a sentiment.

Card Base: Basic White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Night of Navy: 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and 2 1/2″ x 4″ and 1 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and 1/2″ x 3″
Abstract Beauty pattern paper: 3 3/8″ x 4 5/8″ – pink striped pattern and 2 3/8″ x 3 7/8″ – navy background with pink and yellow flowers
Basic White: 1 5/8″ x 2 5/8″
