Stampin’ Up Awash in Beauty clean and simple

Hello Everyone – if you struggle with how to use large rows of patterns on your pattern paper, then take a look at today’s Stampin’ Up Awash in Beauty clean and simple card.

I love my pattern paper but every once in a while there is a paper that has a strip of large images and I struggle with how to use it. I decided to cut the strip down and use the main focal image for my card today.

Look at this beauty of a card. The pattern paper does all the work. See how I cut the pattern paper to create this Stampin' Up Awash in Beauty clean and simple card.

This paper is gorgeous and was one of my most popular classes. Have you seen all the gorgeous patterns?

I began by cutting the paper in half. That gave me a strip with the flower patch at the bottom. From there I could cut it down to card front size. This way you can get 6 cards from the one 12″ x 12″ piece of pattern paper. To add some interest I used the back side of the strip cut off to create skinny strips to be used at the top instead of ribbon. To finish it off I added some iridescent pearls.

Don't have a skinny ribbon in the color you need? Think about using some pattern paper like I did for this Stampin' Up Awash in Beauty clean and simple card.

Although I added a sentiment you really don’t need one. This card would be so pretty without it. I did not have a thin ribbon in pink so I cut thin strips of the pattern paper and used it like ribbon.

The coordinating stamp set lets you tie your card and envelope together. I used one of the images and the coordinating ink for this Stampin' Up Awash in Beauty clean and simple card.

Are you looking for ways to use some of your pattern paper? Look at how I used 4 patterns on this card. If you have a large pattern and not sure how to use it, I took the panel and cut it up on this card to break up the large panel.

So are you thinking about what pattern paper you have in your stash that you could use for this idea? Pull out your trimmer and paper and create a beautiful card. Don’t forget to send it out to bring a smile to someone’s face!

I hope my Stampin’ Up Awash in Beauty clean and simple creation has inspired you to use your pattern paper.

Have a Sensational Sunday!
