Stampin’ Up Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle

Hello Stampers ~ I am featuring a great bundle today with the Stampin’ Up Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle.

Well I managed to get a lot done yesterday.  I cut my card stock for my Facebook Live today, made the 4 cards for my no stamping card kit, and made 4 cards for the blog this week.  I also worked on my online challenge I am doing.  I was pleased with all I got completed as I did not expect to accomplish that much.

Today after my Facebook Live I need to go to the grocery store.  I need salad stuff for lunch as well as something for dinner.  Got any ideas?  Once I get back I will be working on more cards and several other tasks on my list.  I am hoping to cross some of them off today.  My list is pretty long so if I can complete some of the tasks it will be good.

Today I am going to do a product focus.  I have been playing a lot lately with the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle and I thought I would share some of the things I have discovered.  The stamp set has 8 images ~ 4 are sentiments and 4 are objects.  The coordinating dies have 9 dies some of which cut out the images and the rest cut out coordinating die cuts to take your cards to the next level.

Let’s look at the stamp set first.  The stamps are cling stamps which means they are red rubber.  This gives you a crisp clean image when you stamp it.  There are 2 different sized leaves so you can use them for your project in a variety of ways.  The largest sunflower has lots of detail.  If you look at the stamp in the photo above, you will see a bunch of little petals at the bottom.  Underneath that the bottom petals have 3 petals that curve to the left or up if you put them on the side.  These petals are important for lining up the die to cut it out.  The little sunflower is perfect for coloring with your markers.  I love using the large sunflower to emboss and then do a watercoloring on it.  The 4 sentiments are great for a promotion, encouragement, thank you, and friendship.

The dies have ones that will cut out each image in the stamp set.  There is also a die to cut a center for your large sunflower.  The other 2 are outline dies  to add detail to the large leaf and the sunflower.  Remember those 3 petals on the stamp set?  Well both of the dies for the large sunflower also has 3 petals that curl to the left or up if you put them on the side.  You can see them at the bottom of the shapes in the photo above.  Lining up those 3 petals with the large sunflower or the sunflower cut out will ensure your image is cut out or layered perfectly.

The catalog has some great samples for this set.  Here are 2 I found.
