Stampin’ Up Day at the Farm
Hello everyone – I have a cute card using Sale-a-bration free paper with my Stampin’ Up Day at the Farm idea.
Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Framed Florets. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.
You may be starting here – Creations in Paper – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.
This month we decided to focus on Sale-a-bration items. There were 2 pattern papers that coordinate with 2 stamp sets in the mini catalog. We will be using those for this blog hop as well as our bundle tutorial for next month will be using the same 2 stamp sets and papers.
I chose to use the On the Farm bundle and have had so much fun playing with these products. I thought it would be fun to play with the pattern paper and an embossing folder. I did some chopping of my paper so I can highlight 2 different patterns of the paper.
The products used are in the new Jan – April mini catalog. Because of that I do not have images as Stampin’ Up has not released them. I will be sharing more ideas with these products over the next few weeks.
Do you see the embossing folder background? I used the Hive embossing folder. Don’t you think it is a good one to use with this collection?
I wasn’t real thrilled with this collection when I saw the catalog but after getting it and playing with it, it is totally adorable! I love the Sale-a-bration pattern paper. If you have the Farm Animal stamp set, This Little Piggy retired stamp set, This Birthday Pig stamp set, Counting Sheep stamp set, Hey Chick stamp set, Rare Rooster retired stamp set, Birthday Chick stamp set, or the Over the Moon stamp set you can use this paper with any of those. These are just a few that I was able to find.
The stamp set has a cute mini flower stamp that I used to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.
While I have not used this set before today’s post, I can share some ideas using some of the sets above. Check out this fun cow card that used Over the Moon stamp set. Look at this fun sheep in a tutu card. And we all know the saying “When Pigs Fly” so it was the inspiration for this cute card.
