Step It Up Sunday – Colorful Angles

Hello Ladies!

Wow the wind was crazy last night.  I was waiting for a tree to come down on the house.  There were times when the gusts sounded like a plane flying low.  I was worried if we would loose electricity.  I am working on this the night before and currently we have electricity.

Today I am hoping to play with some of my Perfect Pearls.  I purchased them several years ago and really have not done anything with them.  I signed up for an online class so now I have to play with them and find out how to use them.  At the end of the class we will be making some projects that I will share with you.

Yesterday I used a sketch from CAS – Clean & Simple Colours & Sketches.  I used the same sketch for my card today.

To step up my card, I added a strip of glimmer paper on one edge of the triangle and the other edge I added ribbon.  I took the sentiment and stamped it on scrap paper and punched it out.  I mounted it on a punched piece of colored cardstock and added a piece of the ribbon used on the triangle.  I love how this one looks.  Here is my stepped up version.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you will take some time to play today.  If you were close, we could play together.  Have a Sensational Sunday!
