Technostamper – Easter

Happy Monday Stampers!

Wow is it cold here!  Our temperatures are not supposed to get above 30 degrees for the next week.  The wind is still blowing but not like it was Saturday night.  This has helped some but the evening are still cold and in the single digits if not below zero.  It is so cold.  I do not want to think about what my electric bill will be this month.  That just means I need to spend more time in my craft room.

Today is the Monday Lunchtime sketch challenge at Technostamper.  We had a simple sketch this week.

I just got the For Peep’s Sake stamp set from the Occasions catalog.  I decided to use that set  for our sketch challenge today.  I went with some patterned paper for the bottom strip.  I stamped the eggs across the top of the patterned paper.  I use the sentiments to make the flags for the top but it was missing something.  I decided to emboss the top part above the eggs.  Here is what my final creation looks like.

I will be stamping today and trying to stay warm.  Jess and I will be going grocery shopping today as they are predicting a snow storm with 5″ + snow.  We will need to have food in the house.  Make sure you cross your fingers and say your prayers that she does not go into labor during this storm as we live in a rural area and it could be tricky getting to the hospital.
